Simplyzip is a multi-archiver program that supports numerous formats, including ZIP, ACE, CAB, RAR, TAR, GZIP, LZH, BZ2 etc. It has additional functions such as ACE/ZIP repair tool, file encryption/decryption, multi-ZIP spanning etc.

I tested SimplyZip on www.virustotal.com
It has 34 viruse checkers. Only 2 of them said it was suspicous.
I hate false positives !

SimplyZip works without any Problem with XP SP1/2/3 and under Vista.
Norman Antivirus ("W32/Suspicious_U.gen")
Standard false positve from Norman. Send the file to the Norman support.
My file are mal/spyware and virus free.

I posted a message on the author's website about some of the issues here (with a link back here). I also scanned (but have not yet run) the files with AVG and Comodo (both say it's ok).
The author writes alot of useful freeware (currently reviewing his listings). Hoping that these are just issues associated with beta software.

Looks like a program I made a few months ago with zip and unzip capabilities. Made it in less then a day. Without viruses hehehe ;)

I got a virus-warning on: SimplyZip.exe
from Norman Antivirus ("W32/Suspicious_U.gen")
