Just an FYI - Tried a couple times to download and then tried to access the authors website and got a Connection Timed Out and Problem Loading Page errors. Don't know if it's a permanant thing. Poked around and found version 1.4 on Softpedia. Also found on SharewareJunction but SJ redirects to www.waterproof.fr so got the same time out error.
v1.4.0
This might be nice if it had colour syntax highlighting for the different regex elements. What *IS* good about this simple tester is that, unlike Expresso, it will test PCRE.
v1.4.0
dany: thanks -- updated.
V1.4.0
doesn't require registration anymore it seems.
V1.4.0
the purpose of registration on anything on the internet is to gather email address for spam. DO NOT SUBMIT YOU EMAIL ON ANTHING.
it should be noted that clicking login>> on the registration page goes to download section doesn care if you leave the form blank (just remember to enable cookies!)..
Ba, they keep saying GUI for various programs, but none of them have that, its essentially just a primitive text editor. You want GUI try "Agent Ransack" it has a nice interface for generating regex expressions - of course its shareware.
When will companies realize that they're stabbing their own foot with these stupid registrations?! Hear hear, do your lead work differently, idiots. Looks like a very nice app but for the sake of making a difference I refused (again) registration and thus the application.
Okay. Looks like the site is accessible again. It's magic. But why is a 2006 app being marked as new on PF. Was it just recently discovered? Just a curiosity question.
