Please note version 1.10 is now up.
It was terribly slow on my hyperthreaded machine. Nothing terribly exciting. And yes, it does leave traces. My Revo Uninstaller found and removed them. Glad I didn't try it at work.
Doesn't seem to work. Says "couldn't find DirectX" and a blank window open. Guess I'll wait to see more comments.
These "traces" have absolutely no effect on portability, and would appear from just about any game/app that uses DirectDraw. No reason to be concerned. :)
It appears that this program leaves behind traces in the registry. DirectDraw and Direct3D appear to be used, and the registry reports that in two places:
1) HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectDraw\MostRecentApplication\Name: "bowling.exe"
2)HKU\S-1-5-21-1214440339-436374069-1343024091-500\Software\Microsoft\Direct3D\MostRecentApplication\Name: "bowling.exe"
This may not be a concern to most, but be aware that it does leave behind traces.
v2.10 out, it seems that the full version is payware
