Wouldn't it be nice if, when trying to download some software, you could click on a download link and go straight to the correct download page.
I still haven't managed to download this software. Why?.
Because there's no download link. When you click on the website link it takes you to a website, (NANOCODESOFT), on which i can't find Ultramanger.
If i do a search on 'google' there are plenty of references to 'Ultramanager' but they all seem to take you to web sites that have nothing to do with 'Ultramanager' or don't work.
I managed to download a file which i thought was 'Ultramanager' but it turned out to be a single page file manager that didn't display any files.

OK, i've let some steam off now, BUT, i would recommend 'FreeCommander' over ANY of the others. It might not have media players or lights and bells, but it is excellent and easy to use and it works.

Sorry for my outburst(s) but at least i didn't swear.

I wanted a file manger and saw this one. It seemed familiar but i had trouble finding a valid download link. When i found one i saw a screen shot and suddenly remembered why i hadn't already got it.
Sproaticus had the answer. It's really UGLY.
I'm going to download it and see if it really is as difficult to use though.

It's nice, except for 1 thing. The time display is off by 2 hours.

Looks like this tries to be both a file manager and a media player, and fails at both. That's the impression I get from the screenshot, at any rate.

If someone had never seen or used any standard file manager before It probably wouldn't be good to learn on this one.

Personally, I think there are two types of good UI.
1) Standards based which are easy to use because they look and feel familiar.
2) Revolutionary which is different but so intuitive that it becomes the new standard. Tabbed interfaces are an example of this.

Unfortunately I don't think this is either.

If someone had never seen or used any standard file manager before this interface might be easier to understand. Needs a bit more work...

But you're still awesome, Fluffy. :-,

That has to be the ugliest and most confusing user interface I've ever seen on a file manager.
