@smaragdus
No idea what other changes have been made in version 4.7. The help file also doesn't include a what's new section.
v4.6
@Ennovy
A bad piece of news. Even more- the AM-DeadLink history page has been removed and cannot be viewed only in Archive.Org- https://web.archive.org/web/20150316124157/http://aignes.com/deadlink_history.htm
v4.6
Version 4.7 has been released. Quote from website:
As bookmark management in browsers got more complex over the years, it's no longer recommended to use external tools to delete bookmarks. Browser bookmarks should only be deleted within the browser user interface!
Starting with AM-DeadLink 4.7, it's no longer possible to alter or delete bookmarks from browsers. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE OLDER VERSIONS OF AM-DEADLINK TO DELETE BOOKMARKS FROM BROWSERS!
AM-DeadLink is no longer supported, you can however still use it to check various sources for dead links!
v4.6
"Yet another product that has been "improved" to the point where it no longer works." This developer (Aignes) has the aggravating custom of encrypting its executables as well as loading them with questionable interface additions... I think I'll pass.
V4.5
Now there is version 4.4 available. Double-click the EXE file and select the "portable" install to USB stick.
Installer for 4.2 has portable option.
V4.2 cannot be extracted with uniextract and the website says: "Setup: It's no longer possible to install the portable edition over the desktop edition or vice versa". Any ideas how to get this portable again?
@Rast
but you need administrator rights to install
Yet another product that has been "improved" to the point where it no longer works.
