I wanted to try a different RSS reader because RSS Bandit started failing and has not been updated for years, though it still works mostly. RSS Guard takes a long time to load and has several bugs, which I could not solve. Plus, I found the program uneasy.
I researched a lot on this subject and found QuiteRSS, a spectacular and freeware RSS reader. It loads quickly, it has no bugs so far, and it has many useful features; it is updated on a regular basis as well. Please portabilize this program if possible. It works well and quickly on Windows 7.

Has anyone found a way to auto mark feeds or articles as read? In most other readers, there is an option to mark as read when you navigate away from the feed
