Further to my previous comment, it seems that the download links are still working; my problem was that Zippyshare is now blocked in the UK for some reason. (Seems to be blocked by Zippyshare itself rather than by my ISP.) I managed to download from the given links via a VPN.

I confirm that *fang-face* is right- the extraction of the latest version of ImgBurn (2.5.8.0) with Universal Extractor version 1.6.1 or with 7-Zip version 9.20 doesn't create any '$INSTDIR' directory.

Ok, as of this date, 11-28-2011, the download to this program doesn't work. It goes to the home web page, but no option to download. ...............someone on this web page needs to know this. |
Winsonar 2010 is a program specifically designed for process monitoring and system protection from unknown processes. The basic idea is that if the user could know a new program silently installed into memory, he could take appropriate countermeasures. Any unknown process can be automatically terminated, or an alert displayed to the user.

Undelete Plus is a quick and effective way to retrieve accidentally deleted files, files removed from the Recycle Bin, in a DOS window, from a network drive, from Windows Explorer with the SHIFT key held down. Since release 2.8 it can clean the disk (free space, cluster tips and directory entries).
Note: Undelete Plus has gone payware. As such, I have made the version I have available for direct download. Please see comments for more download links contributed by donald.

Of course these are minor nitpicks and do not decimate the value of the application. If recovering your files are a life and death situation than this should be the last thing on your mind.

Honestly, when you accidentally delete something important off from your memory card or hard drive, the best solution to take them all back is to copy them back from your prepare drive or card data backups. Therefore, making data backups is really important. |
Directory Lister lets you list all or selected files you have in selected folders on your storage units into text, csv or html file. You can choose: which items to list (subdirs, size, date, time, attribs, directory names, directory size, full path, crc32 value); which directories to be included; sort options; selection mask (e.g.: *.mp3). It is possible to generate lists for each processed folders, to load and save personalized settings, and to list files from command line (for FTP owners).
Note: Main site only offers a commercial version so we are linking to a mirror of the last available freeware version (thanks Lupo).

Still loving this program. It worked well on Vista, and it still works great on my upgrade (yes upgrade) to XP SP3. I just recently used it to disable some unneeded stuff launching with my partition backup program. thanks.

Emka: entry updated. This is one of my favorite system programs so I was very happy to get this back online. Although it doesn't list support for it, I had no trouble using it successfully in Windows 7. |
Dial-a-fix is an advanced utility that repairs various Windows problems and errors including Windows Update, Automatic Updates, SSL, HTTPS, Cryptography service, COM/ActiveX object, missing registrations and so on.
The program is a collection of known fixes gleaned from Microsoft Knowledgebase articles, and other important support forums. Although this tool is devoted to technicians and administrators, it is said to be quite safe to use even without technical guidance (although guidance is recommended). The program philosophy is to fix problems by setting various things back to their original Microsoft defaults and does not interface with or repair any third party programs.
Not compatible with versions of windows above XP (or 64-bit).
